Our team had an awesome weekend at the Finland Optimist National Championship held in Tampere over the weekend. The three day regatta was light and shifty, but our team of 17 sailors competed very well, Ville taking out the national championship title! To back up Ville's awesome overall performance was the young up and coming sailors, with our team claiming 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Under 13 Championships. To come away from the regatta with 7 sailors in the top 21 was a real achievement that we're super proud of. But it's only the beginning! We can enjoy the result but there is so much more work to do.
